Important: BEFORE you add WebPay for PrinterOn to your printers, make sure that your PrinterOn printers are configured and fully functioning.

(normal PrinterOn setup without WebPay)
With a normal PrinterOn a print is sent from either the Web portal, an email or the PrintWhere driver, through PrinterOn and to the print release software ultimately connected to the printer.

(PrinterOn setup with WebPay)
When you add WebPay, you insert a step in the normal process, instructing PrinterOn to ask the user for billing information before processing the print. When the user has made successful payment, WebPay notifies PrinterOn that the print can continue.
When you signed up for WebPay for PrinterOn, and your account was fully set up, you received a welcome email containing your WebPay Billing URL. If you have not yet received this email, your merchant account may still be pending, please contact us, and we'll let you know the status of your account and resend your welcome email if necessary.
To add WebPay to your already configured PrinterOn printers, start by logging on to the PrinterOn management site at www.printeron.net/administrators

When logged on, choose the icon Printers to go to your list of configured printers.

Choose one of your existing, working, PrinterOn printers.

Choose the tab Printing Options.

Under the tab Printing Options, scroll to the section Authorizing Users and check the box that says Redirect to authorize user, track pages or bill customer. An Authorize URL field appears, enter your WebPay Billing URL from the welcome email exactly as it appeared in the email. Set Security to "Clear Text". Under Output Options check the box which says "Guests will be charged for printing", and click "Save Changes" when done.

Go to the Pricing Options tab and make sure that you have also configured pricing options such as currency, page pricing and minimum charge per job.

We strongly recommend a minimum charge per job, of for example 1.50 USD or 1.50 EUR, to ensure that you have the basic cost of processing the transaction covered. Contact us if you need help deciding the minimum charge per job.
Important: You must choose the currency relevant to your payment processing solution, ie. if you're using payment processing in the United States, you must choose USD. If you're based in the Netherlands, you must use EUR. If you're in South Africa, you must use RAND.
We suggest you try submitting a print and make a test payment to confirm all is functioning correctly.
